Police Investigating Thefts of Trailer, Soil Compactor
53-foot Wabash National taken early this morning; Wacker compactor taken Thursday.
Bethlehem police are investigating two unusual thefts that occurred in the past two days.
The more recent took place at a little after 4 a.m. this morning when someone entered the lot at Ground Tech, 2005 Industrial Drive, and stole a 53-foot Wabash National tractor-trailer.
A soil compactor was taken in South Bethlehem at a little before 6 a.m. Thursday. It was locked to a parked construction vehicle at 1221 E. Fourth St. The Wacker compactor, valued at $3,000, had a cracked engine cover, police said.
