Police: Home Invasion Robbery in SouthSide

Two victims had hands tied behind their back while suspects made off with $300 and necklace.

 

Bethlehem police are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred Saturday evening on Itaska Street in South Bethlehem.

According to a police media report, the two victims, Wilson Martin, 23, and Joann Martinez, 20, both of 617 Itaska St., were forced to lie on the ground and had their hands tied behind their backs with duct tape.

The suspects, identified only as three black males, made off with $300 cash and a necklace, fleeing in a green 2003 Honda Accord. The incident occurred at a little after 6:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
