Police: Drunk Didn't want to go Home with Wife

Released to his spouse, he ran away and spent night in a cell block instead.

A Bethlehem Township man refused to go home with his wife after he was arrested by city police for public drunkenness early this morning, police said.

Christian McCormick, 42, of 3826 Oakland Road, was allegedly caught by police urinating from the east side of the Minsi Trail Bridge just before 12:30 a.m.

After citing him, police released McCormick to his wife, but less than an hour later he was back inside the police station, according to a police media report.

En route home, McCormick got out of the family car and ran away. When stopped by police officers, McCormick told them that he did not want to go home with his wife. He was arrested again for public drunkenness and placed in a police station cell block to stay until he was sober.
