According to the arrest affidavit:

Before the meeting, Virgilio called the undercover officer to change the meeting place to Portobello.
  • While driving to the meeting place, the undercover cop spotted Virgilio walking along Newburg Road near The Newburg Inn and pulled into the parking lot there.
  • Virgilio got into the back seat of the undercover officer’s car and sold him .25 grams of crack cocaine for $60 and left.
  • The substance purchased was tested at a lab to confirm that it was crack cocaine.

It's good to see drug dealers off the streets, but what does this really accomplish in the long run? People are going to keep selling drugs illegally as long as it's profitable to do so...the only way to stop this is to decriminalize these substances. People are squeamish about the idea of drugs being sold legally, but we'd all be a lot safer if drug dealers didn't have such an enormous incentive to deal. http://recoveryfirst.org/the-war-against-counterfeit-controlled-substances.html/
