Police: City Man Fired Shot at Ex-Girlfriend

An arrest warrant has been issued for David Bermudez, 33.

A Bethlehem man allegedly fired a gun at his ex-girlfriend, with her daughter sitting next to her, at their home at a housing development off of Pembroke Road, city police said.

Fortunately, David Bermudez missed Jessica Ruiz and the juvenile daughter. Nonetheless, police have obtained a warrant for Bermudez’s arrest on multiple charges.

Those charges are felony aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person. According to the police media release, Bermudez, 33, still lives with Ruiz at 1111 Merriman Court, where the incident took place at about 11 a.m., Thursday.
