Palm Print Leads to Arrest of Burglary Suspect

Whitehall Township man charged with January burglary of Westbury Circle home.

A Whitehall Township man is in Northampton County Prison after being connected to a January burglary at a city home through forensic evidence, according to court papers.

Kevin Michael Felker, 33, of 1946 Sunset Drive, is charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, loitering and prowling at nighttime and criminal mischief. He was arraigned before District Judge James Narlesky on Wednesday and committed to prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

According to the court record, Bethlehem police were called to 1041 Westbury Circle at a little after midnight on January 6 for a report of a burglary in progress.

An occupant of the home told police that he was in his living room when he heard glass breaking in his bedroom.

The Bethlehem Police Forensic Services Unit was able to retrieve a palm print from the window, which when ran through a criminal fingerprint database allegedly matched to Felker, according to the arrest affidavit.
