More Than 50 Weapons Stolen from Garage

Police: 40 rifles and 15 handguns were taken in SouthSide garage burglary.

A cache of more than 50 weapons, including about 40 rifles and 15 handguns, have been stolen from a private SouthSide garage, Bethlehem police said.

Burglars forced their way into the garage on Boyce Street, which is part of the property at 540 Montclair Ave., though the time of the thefts are unclear.

The burglary was reported to police early Thursday morning, but Dennis Huff of Langford, the owner of the weapons and burglarized garage, had not been there since the summer. Huff reported the burglary to police at about 1 a.m. Thursday.
