Man Shot in South Bethlehem in Serious Condition

City police say two suspects fled on foot

A man who was shot this morning on Alaska Street in South Bethlehem is listed in serious condition at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, Bethlehem police said.

Police were called to the scene, 615 Alaska St., at about 11 a.m. this morning. When police arrived, they found a man suffering with gunshot wounds to his upper leg.

The suspects are described as one Hispanic male and one black male, police said. One was armed with a handgun and both fled the scene on foot, police said.
