Man Shot in Abdomen on Livingston Street

Injuries suffered by 20-year-old in early Monday shooting not considered life-threatening. Police seeking public's help in finding his assailants.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in the Northeast section of the city early Monday, police said.

The incident occurred at 1:09 a.m. at the rear of 1235 C Livingston St., according to the police’s daily incident report. The suspects, black men, drove off in a white Nissan Maxima, police said.

are not identifying the victim, whose wounds are not believed to be life-threatening, according to The Express-Times.

He was brought to in Fountain Hill where he underwent surgery and was still undergoing treatment Monday afternoon, Det. Lt. Mark DiLuzio told the newspaper.

The shooter is described as thin, between 6-feet-3-inches and 6-feet-4-inches tall, and wearing a white-hooded sweatshirt. The accomplice was described as shorter and stockier, standing about 5-feet-10-inches tall and wearing a beard and dark-colored clothing.
