Man Robbed Near Minsi Trail Bridge

Victim tells police that suspect approached him riding a mountain bike and holding a handgun.

A man told Bethlehem police that he was robbed at gunpoint as he walked home from work early this morning on the north side of the Minsi Trail Bridge.

The victim said the robber approached him riding a dark blue “Next” mountain bike, brandishing a small handgun. He got away with his cell phone, wallet containing $10 and some guitar picks. He then fled south on the bridge and east on Daly Avenue, police said.

The incident took place at a little after 4 a.m. The robber is described as a black male, wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, a black mask, blue jeans and black sneakers
