PPL Electric Utilities said it expects to have 80-85 percent of its customers restored by 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2. The company hopes to have the lights back on for all -- including the Lehigh Valley, parts of Bucks and Montgomery counties, the Poconos and northeast Pennsylvania -- by 11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4.

In situations of extreme damage, PPL explained on its Twitter account, it's possible that small pockets could remain out Monday-Tuesday. Customers who are not expected to be restored by 11 p.m. Sunday will be notified.

Around 6:20 p.m. Thursday, PPL tweeted that there are a number of "vital" facilities still without power, including Gracedale -- Northampton County's nurisng home -- in Upper Nazareth Township.

Does anyone know how I can reach the Nazareth Police? The 610-746-0707 line is not working.
Mallory Vough November 01, 2012 at 01:29 PM
You can call Northampton County's non-emergency number 610-759-2200. Tell them you want to speak to a Nazareth officer. They will take your information and pass it along to NBPD.
