Home Invasion Assault Suspect Turns Himself In

Police say Lower Saucon, Palmer men invaded South Bethlehem home and committed assault.

A Lower Saucon Township man was arrested and charged with being the second attacker in of a South Bethlehem man early Sunday morning.

Jon Brynn Suess, 28, of 1569 Woodfield Drive turned himself into police on Wednesday and was charged with aggravated assault, burglary, criminal trespass and criminal conspiracy.

According to police, Suess and Alexander Paul, 22, of 54 Corrier Rd., Palmer Township, attacked Daniel Stein early Sunday morning because they believed Stein was "disrespecting" a female friend of theirs.

According to court papers, police were called to Stein's home at 510 E. Fifth St., where they found him suffering from numerous injuries as the result of the attack. Stein would later be diagnosed with a broken nose and a concussion, and would need five stitches on his face.

Suess, a former Marine, was arraigned before District Judge Daniel Corpora of Easton and was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.Β
