Fire displaced two families, five adults in all, from an apartment building on Keystone Street in Bethlehem Township on Thursday night, according to the Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Initial emergency reports indicated that a fire broke out in the 4200 block of Keystone Street at a little before 10:30 p.m. The Red Cross said that the fire was in a 10-unit complex and two units were affected.
The Red Cross at first provided food to one family and food and clothing to another, according to an agency news release.
After meeting with both families again this morning, the agency will be providing them with lodging as well.
