Lehigh County Teen Missing, Family Says

The family of Brody Reidmiller, 17, hasn't heard from him since Aug. 15 and asks for help to find him.

The Lehigh County family of a missing teen is asking for help locating him.

Brody Reidmiller, 17, of Lower Milford Township was last seen at Swann's Pantry in Quakertown where he interviewed for a job Aug. 15. He is described 6'3" and 160 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. No information is available about what Reidmiller was wearing on Aug. 15. He drives a white F150 Sport 4x4 1999 Slopeside truck with a Mack Truck front plate, license plate number ZBF8780.

Though an argument over the phone precipitated the teen's disappearance, Reidmiller's mother, Gwen Gerhart, says she talked to him at around 1pm last Wednesday, and he said he would call her back. That was the last time she heard from him.

"I am so scared," said Gerhart. "This is totally out of character for him."

Gerhart says that Reidmiller made several stops to visit family on the 15th, and was in Macungie, Trexlertown, Zionsville, and Quakertown.

Gerhart says he had a small sum of money with him and may be in the Lehigh Valley. Reidmiller's family is also looking for him in areas with family significance, including Lake Nockamixon in Bucks County, Cape May, and Wildwood at the Jersey shore and Key West, Fla.

The family is working with state police in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania to help locate the missing teen.

"If I could talk to him right now, I would tell him we love him and we miss him," said Gerhart. "Anyone who is hiding him should know that we are frantic looking for him. I just want him home safe."
