A 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were robbed at gunpoint shortly after midnight as they walked up a driveway toward one of their homes in center city Bethlehem, police said.
According to police, two men approached the couple – one of them brandishing a snub-nosed revolver – and demanded all of their stuff. Backpacks were then taken from both victims.
The suspects then fled from the driveway at 713 N. New St. and out of view of the victims, police said.
The backpacks – one with a floral design, the other, black, decorated with a skull and crossbones – contained cash, camera, a cell phone and checkbook, according to this report in The Morning Call.
Police said the gun-toting suspect is a black man, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and in his 20s. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
The other suspect is a white man, also in his 20s and stood about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with red writing on it.
