Boys Harass Police Horses at Burnside

One has to be hospitalized after being kicked in the head, charges pending.

Charges are pending against three juvenile males who reportedly harassed horses corralled at the where city police keep equines for the , police said.

One of the boys was reportedly kicked in the head by a horse and required hospitalization, police said.

The boys, who were not identified, are facing charges of defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, underage drinking and another relating to the harassment of police animals, police said.

The investigation is continuing and police may seek a search warrant on the boys’ cell phones, which may have been used to record the incident, police said.
