Bikers Robbed, Assaulted on Conestoga Street

2 Palmer Township men and 2 city women arrested for allegedly robbing two bicycle riders.

 

Two Bethlehem women and two Palmer Township men are charged in the robbery and beating of two men who were out riding bicycles on Conestoga Street late Tuesday night, according to court records.

Eric Flores and David Flores, both 23 and of 3066 Clayton St., in Palmer Township; Desiree Laborde, 18, of 1308 Livingston St., Bethlehem, and Ashley Sanchez, 19, of 1362 E. Sixth St., Bethlehem, were all charged with robbery, simple assault, theft, receiving stolen property and harassment.

They were all committed to Lehigh County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail each.

The alleged assault and robbery took place in the 600 block of Conestoga Street shortly before midnight. Based on the descriptions provided by the two victims, the suspects were picked up on the 1400 block of Stefko Boulevard less than an hour later.

Green racquet balls that had been in one of the victim’s duffel bags were among the items found in the suspects’ car.
