Bethlehem Teen Arrested in Musikfest Stabbing

Now in prison in lieu of $250,000 bail, suspect tells police he is a member of Crips street gang.

A 15-year-old Bethlehem boy, who told police he is a member of the Crips street gang, has been charged as an adult in the stabbing that occurred near Main Street on the , police said.

The Morning Call reported that the arrested teen-ager is Keith Walker of 718 Lynnfield Drive

Police said the teen was arrested on Sunday and charged with criminal attempt to commit homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of a crime.

He was arraigned before District Judge Gaye Elwell of Easton and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.

The victim, of Allentown, suffered two puncture wounds to his torso and had to be admitted to St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, where he underwent surgery and was required to stay for a couple of days.

The stabbing occurred at 9:55 p.m. on the "S-curb" near the Hill-to-Hill Bridge, just off of Main Street.
