Bethlehem, Bucks County Bank Robberies Linked

FBI believes that robber who struck bank in Warminster on Wednesday may be the same man who robbed the KNBT in West Bethlehem last week.

 

The man who robbed the bank branch inside of the Giant in West Bethlehem more than a week ago may have struck again in Warminster, Bucks County, on Wednesday, according to the FBI.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, the robber entered the PNC Bank inside of a in Warminster brandishing a weapon and presenting a threatening demand note to the teller

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank in what authorities believe to be a light silver or gold sedan with a rounded back That is similar to the description of the getaway vehicle in Bethlehem, which was a silver or beige sedan.

The , shortly after noon. The suspect reportedly handed the teller a threatening note, claiming that he had two accomplices in the bank who were armed, but he never showed a weapon of his own.

The FBI describes the suspect as a white male, late 40s to early 50s, 5’6” tall, with dark hair and mustache. He was wearing a tan baseball-style cap and a dark jacket. In Bethlehem, he was described as wearing a dark-colored military style baseball hat and an Army green-colored jacket.

In addition to the Bethlehem robbery, he may also be responsible for another bank robbery that occurred earlier in the month in Marlton, N.J.

The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance to locate and identify the suspect. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (215) 418-4000 or the at 610-865-7187.

There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
