Bank Robber Sentenced to 5 to 15 Years

Police found Skoniezcny an hour after robbery; his note to teller was scribbled on a piece of mail.

An Allentown man who robbed a West Bethlehem bank by scribbling a note on the back of a piece of mail addressed to his home was sentenced today to five to 15 years in a state prison, according to this report in The Morning Call.

Police found and arrested Jonathan Skonieczny within an hour of the at the on W. Union Boulevard in which he got away with nearly $1,500. Apparently, his drug addiction drove him.

Skoniezczny, 28, has already served prison time for a previous bank robbery and has been arrested on numerous other occasions for other crimes.
