Bank Inside West Side Giant Robbed

Man passed a threatening note to teller, according to police radio reports

 

The bank branch inside the at 2170 W. Union Boulevard was robbed shortly after noon today.

No one was injured. Bethlehem police are seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect. Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect taken at the bank.

According to police radio reports described in The Morning Call, a man passed a note to a teller demanding cash and stating that two other people inside the store were armed. He did not show a weapon.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a heavy mustache and facial hair. He was wearing beige or khaki-colored pants, a dark-colored military style baseball hat and an Army green-colored jacket.  The suspect fled the scene in a silver or beige sedan-type vehicle.
