Armed Robbery at Linden Street Gas Station Sunday

Bethlehem police report an armed robbery at a gas station on Linden Street Sunday afternoon.

At 1:53 p.m. Sunday, a man robbed the at 2350 Linden St., according to the Bethlehem Police crime blog

He parked his late model Volvo sedan on Jennings Street behind the business. Upon entering the store he was concealing his face by holding a purple in color piece of cloth over it. He held a pistol with his right hand and demanded money from the clerk as he pointed the pistol at him.

The thief was weraing a dark colored T-shirt  and shorts, and he was wearing dark colored flip-flops. His shorts appeared to be white with an emblem toward the bottom of the material on his left side.

After putting the money in his right pocket, he returned to his car and left the area heading south on Jennings Street.
