Armed Robber Targets Broad Street Deli

Suspect brandished a firearm and stole cash at Abe's

An armed robber struck at Abe’s Six Pack and Deli, 1301 W. Broad St., at a little after 8:30 p.m. on Monday night, city police said.

The robber was described as black, between 6-feet and 6-foot, 2-inches tall, wearing dark-colored pants and a dark-colored hooded jacket and a white cloth over his face. He entered the store brandishing a firearm and made off with “an undetermined amount of cash,” police said. No one was hurt.

The robber then fled southeast onto 12th Avenue. Anyone who may have seen the suspect or has any information pertaining to this robbery is asked to call the Bethlehem Police at (610) 865-7187 or Det. Jason Fulmer at (610) 997-7682.
