Allentown Man Accused of Pulling a Gun

Otero was being bounced from Roosevelt's 21st for being abusive to girlfriend, police said.

An Allentown man is accused of pulling a gun on a Bethlehem nightclub bouncer who was escorting the suspect out early this morning because he had allegedly become abusive with his girlfriend, city police said.

Anthony Otero, 22, of 202 Nelson St., Allentown, was charged with first-degree felony aggravated assault in the incident, which occurred at bar at 21 Elizabeth Ave., at 1:20 a.m. today, Bethlehem police said.

A city police officer chased Otero, who was eventually apprehended, but not before he tried to discard the gun, police said. Police found the gun in a yard that Otero had run through.
