Alleged Cocaine Dealers Arrested

Special Operations Vice Unit arrests man and woman following search on Oberly Street.

 

A SouthSide man and woman were arrested on drug charges following a warrant search of their home by the Bethlehem Police Special Operations Vice Unit early this morning.

Cocaine, straws, clear plastic torn baggies, digital scales, scissors, marijuana cigarettes and cell phones were found during the search of the home at 1804 Oberly St., the home of Maria Milagros Diaz, 34, and Ivan Otero, 37, according to court papers.

Both Diaz and Otero waived their Miranda rights during an interview with police during which they admitted to selling cocaine, court papers said.

Diaz and Otero were both charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and criminal conspiracy, both felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Diaz was also charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Diaz and Otero were both committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail following arraignment before .
