89-Year-old Man Dies After Crash into Wall

An 89-year-old Bethlehem Township man has died following a one-car crash into a wall on Hecktown Road in the township.
Richard S. Zerbey Jr., of Country Meadows, 4011 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Township, died at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Luke's Hospital-Fountain Hill, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
Zerbey was in an accident about 3:20 p.m. Thursday. According to the coroner's office, he was driving a vehicle that struck a concrete wall, about 100 feet north of the 3600 block of Hecktown Road.
The coroner ruled his death accidental, the result of blunt force trauma.
