$25,000 Missing From Bethlehem Little League

North Central Little League reports apparent theft to Bethlehem police.

Bethlehem police are investigating the apparent theft of $25,000 from a local Little League organization, according to published reports.

The Morning Call says police included the theft from the North Central Little League in their report Monday, but later redacted it because it's an on-going investigation.

The newspaper says "at least" $25,000 may have been taken from the league.

The Express-Times, citing an e-mail sent to league members, said the NCLL had begun setting up financial safeguards in light of the investigation.

The league is based out of the city, and is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 16.
