15-Year-Old Shot with BB Gun at Musikfest: Police

Boy did not see who shot him, police say. Plus, four are charged with disorderly conduct, another with public drunkenness during opening weekend of festival.

A 15-year-old boy was shot in the mouth with a BB gun while standing on Main Street near the Historic Hotel Bethlehem during Musikfest’s opening night Friday, police said.

Police said the boy did not see who shot him and that an investigation into the incident remains open. The incident occurred at 9:17 p.m., police said. The severity of the injury was not mentioned in the blotter report.

In other Musikfest-related crime, police said:

  • Two teen-age males who were fighting at Plaza Tropical at 8:43 p.m. Friday were charged with disorderly conduct.
  • Two men were charged with disorderly conduct for urinating in the street at Main and Church streets at 9:24 p.m. Saturday.
  • Another man was arrested for public drunkenness at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks at 10:17 p.m. Sunday.
