Poll results released shortly before the dawn of 2012 show Americans are very optimistic going into the new year.
According to an Associated Press survey:
- 62 percent who responded say they’re optimistic about what 2012 will bring for the country.
- 78 percent say they are personally hopeful about the year ahead.
A poll by ABC news showed:
- 75 percent who responded are optmistic about their prospects this new year, with fewer people feeling positive about the future of our country and the world.
