Roderick J. Lewis, 87, died at home in Bethlehem, PA on December 14, 2013.

Roderick J. Lewis, 87, died at home in Bethlehem, PA on December 14, 2013. He is survived by his wife Imelda of 66 years.

Mr. Lewis graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. He taught elementary and high school mathematics at several schools in New Jersey - finishing at West Morris Regional High School - before retiring to the Bethlehem area. For several years he did substitute teaching at Phillipsburg high schools and tutored students privately as well.

Survivors: In addition to his wife; Four Children: Michael and Karen Lewis of Maine, Andrea Lewis and Jerry Brown of Wyoming, Imelda Lewis and Sammi McPherson of Minnesota, and Chris and Mark Lacatena of NJ; Brother: Arthur Lewis of Greenbrook NJ.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10- 11 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
