Agnes Sek, 91, Devoted Holy Infancy Parishioner

Wife, mother of 2 sons, youngest of 7 siblings loved animals and tending to her flowers.

Agnes R. (Dozer) Sek, 91, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday at Holy Family Manor.

She was born May 13, 1922 in Bethlehem, the youngest of seven children to the late Andrew J. and Anna M. Dozer. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Sek.

Earlier in life, Agnes worked briefly at Western Electric before dedicating her life to her family. She was a devoted parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church.

Agnes had a special place in her heart for animals and loved spending time with her family. In her free time, she could be found tending to her flowers.

Agnes is survived by her sons, Stanley Sek and his wife, Mary, and John Sek all of Bethlehem as well as her five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Agnes was preceded in death by her siblings and great granddaughter, Kimberly O’Rourke.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem, with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
