Reading of the Declaration of Independence

At 10am Monday, Ken Mathews will read the Declaration of Independence at the George Taylor House.  Following will be an Honor Guard Salute. 

Both the George Taylor House at Lehigh and Poplar and the Biery House at Lehigh and Race will be open from 9am to noon on the Fourth.  The GTH will offer tours (donation requested).  George Taylor was a Revolutionary activist and one of the signers of the Declaration of Indepence.  Parking is available off Poplar and Lehigh.

The Biery House @ 8 Race St. features a Museum of Catasauqua History and Art Gallery, Canal, Mule Barn, Deily Coal Yard and Scale House.   Parking for the Biery House is available off Union St:  from Race St turn onto Front St, go one block and turn left onto Union and left again at Canal.
