The third annual Bicycling Fall Classic, presented by Specialized, is a day of cycling for
the whole family. With 10, 25, 50, and 90-mile routes through scenic Lehigh
Valley, there are rides for cyclists of every skill level.
All riders
will enjoy nutritional, medical, and mechanical support along the routes, and
this year's 90-mile Gran Fondo will feature timing chips for the uphill climbs.
The top climbers from the Gran Fondo will receive prizes.
In addition to
in-ride support, the Fall Classic will include a post-ride lunch between
Noon-4pm in the Valley Preferred Cycling Center courtyard provided by Rodale
Catering with free beer for riders over 21.
Riders can purchase tickets
at the Fall Classic's online registration page, where there are also links to this
year's limited-edition Bicycling Fall Classic jersey from Giordana. Also on the
registration page, riders can find tickets to the VIP Reception (October 5th, 6-9pm), which features a meet and
greet with cycling great George Hincapie. But act fast- these VIP tickets are
limited.
Riders are also encouraged to check out VeloFest, the
nation's largest outdoor cycling flea market, Saturday, October 5th from
8:30am-2:00pm.
