The Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS will hold a Property Tax Elimination Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at the Best Western Plus Lehigh Valley Hotel & Conference Center.
Realtors are committed to property tax reform and SUPPORT the Property Tax Independence Act (SB/HB 76). This legislation will ELIMINATE school property taxes and replace the funding by increasing the personal income tax and sales tax while expanding its applicability. The Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS engaged the Anderson Economic Group to conduct an economic impact study that demonstrates the legislation can work with slight modifications.
Join us to hear from economic expert Jason Horwitz, who will provide a summary of the legislation, results from the economic impact study, and a comparison of tax rates before and after reforms.
