Meet Wildlands Conservancy President Chris Kocher and Rodale author Budd Coates

Rodale’s
General Store welcomes Wildlands Conservancy president Chris
Kocher, for a special presentation on the South Mountain trails, an area
where runners, walkers, and cyclists
can enjoy the Robert Rodale Reserve first-hand.

Following this
presentation, Budd Coates, Rodale Inc.'s Senior Director of Employee
Health & Fitness and a Wildlands Conservancy board member, will
sign copies
of his recently published book, Running on Air.
Budd will also be available to answer questions regarding the
development and maintenance of the trails on South Mountain, as well as
to offer advice about trail running.

This event will provide a great opportunity to learn more about the work of the Wildlands Conservancy as well as
some of the special places in our area ready to be explored and enjoyed
as the seasons change.

Nearly 40 years ago,
Robert Rodale made a generous donation of land to Wildlands
Conservancy in an effort to help preserve the beautiful natural
landscape on South
Mountain. Over the years, Wildlands has successfully grown this area to
750 acres of protected, natural space now known as the Robert Rodale
Reserve.
