If David Byrne is one of the geniuses of modern times, then Start Making Sense is a tribute to genius. The musicians in this seven-piece Talking Heads cover band have come from psychedelia-funk, New York City underground spoof bands, world beat/jam and head-banging punk to bring to the stage a “once in a lifetime” experience. This is a rockin', funkin', danceable celebration of the new-wave punk from the ’80s with frontman Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne - suit too big and all. Opening the show is popular Lehigh Valley surf-rock group the Great White Caps.
Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 at the door; or $99 for the VIP New Year’s Eve Party on the Balcony – Includes Balcony VIP Ticket for the performance; butlered hors d’oeuvres, dips and desserts; open bar from 8 PM-Midnight for Beer, Wine & Soda; and a Champagne toast at midnight.
