"Dance Soup" presented by The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts
The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts holds their annual Dance Soup Concert- November 22-24.

Dance Soup, presented by the acclaimed dance department at The Lehigh Valley
Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) is an informal concert of
student choreographed works.

Dance Soup provides Charter Arts dance majors with the opportunity to practice
the skills they learn in Improvisation and Dance Composition classes. Through a
lengthy process involving faculty acceptance of a student proposal, the
auditioning of fellow classmates, setting rehearsal schedules, creation of a
work, and attending mentoring sessions with faculty members, the student
sharpens their leadership and choreographic skills.
Several of the student choreographed solos are based on current events. Students are able to share their emotion and passion about a topic or event through the beautiful expression of dance.
