Children's Beach Day at the Bethlehem Farmers' Market at Campus Square

Due to inclement weather on 8/1, the Bethlehem Farmers' Market will be celebrating Children's Beach Day next week, instead of the 1st. Our market is open rain or shine, but the children should enjoy our fun theme day without a continual downpour!

On Thursday 8/8, from 11am to 3pm, the market will be offering free face painting and sand art necklaces to all children in attendance. Come early while supplies last.

Be sure to stick around for lunch and enjoy a live, musical performance by George Baier from 12-2pm. The face-painting is sponsored by Lehigh University's Child Development Research Group.

There's something for everybody to enjoy this summer at the Bethlehem Farmers' Market. Seasonal, local produce is available from Bechdolt's Orchards, Lettuce Alone Farm, and Heritage CSA (who also has fresh, brown eggs). You can grab a superb, hot lunch from Hellertown Deli & Pita, The Island Taste, M&B Farview (in addition to their packaged meats and cheeses), and Wrap'd Tight. Or stop by Tombler's Home Bakery for wonderful packed lunch/dinner items you can take home!

Treat yourself to something sweet from Quetzal Bakery, Tasty Pastry, Back Door Bakeshop, or Sweet Love Cupcakes. And don't forget about our specialty vendors, The Popcorn Pit and A Natural Alternative (handmade soaps & toiletries).
