Back to Your Roots: Stream Science!

The Monocacy Creek was an important source of water for Burnside Plantation farm animals during colonial times, and on Saturday, August 17 it will become our living laboratory!

Children and their families are invited to engage in hands-on activities that will explore the science in our own backyard.  Learn what type of life the creek can support - discover if the creek is a healthy water source for animals.  Afterward, make a cool fish print banner to fly in the summer breeze.  Wear rubber-soled shoes that can get wet!

Cost: Children are FREE!  Adults $7  (two children per adult)
