Steady Stream of Voters at Wesley Church

Republican county executive candidate presses flesh on opponent's home turf in Bethlehem.

Republican Northampton County Executive candidate John Brown (in the foreground, facing the camera) talks to a voter outside of the polling place at the Wesley Church on Center Street. Brown is running against Democratic Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan. A steady stream of voters shuffled past Brown and volunteers who worked for other candidates. Bethlehem Democratic Party Chairman Mike Recchiutti described the turnout as “decent in some spots” and better than what was seen during the primary. Polls are open until 8 p.m. (Patch, Daryl Nerl)
