'Supermoon' Over Bethlehem

Largest full moon in 18 years brightens sky

Saturday night's full moon was the largest we have seen in 18 years, thanks to the full moon falling at perigee, when the moon's orbit brings it to its closest approach to Earth. With clear skies over the Lehigh Valley on a crisp night, it made for some pretty scenery, for example this picture on Main Street, Bethlehem, of the Central Moravian Church steeple.
