Lehigh Valley May See Wet Snow Thursday Morning

Rain Wednesday could turn to snow Wednesday night

UPDATE Wednesday 9 a.m.: The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Lehigh and Northampton counties for 10 p.m. Wednesday through 4 a.m. Thursday. The advisory says two to four inches of snow may accumulate.

The Lehigh Valley Weather Patrol is predicting higher snow totals with rain changing to snow by 11 p.m. and one to two inches of snow falling per hour through 5 or 6 a.m.

A hazardous weather outlook issued for counties including Lehigh and Northampton predicts a period of accumulating snow will occur Wednesday night.
