Midweek Heat Wave Coming
Combination of heat and humidity will make it feel like 100 on Wednesday and Thursday
Weather forecasters say a midweek heat wave will make it feel like it is 100 degrees outside when humidity is factored in. The Lehigh Valley may reach record-high temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday, according to WFMZ.
The National Weather Service says a "very hot and humid air mass will encompass the region Wednesday and Thursday." The forecast calls for a high of 95 on Wednesday and 96 on Thursday. The Weather Channel is predicting a high of 97 on Wednesday.
Temperatures should return to a more seasonable level in the 80s by the end of the week.
