Memorial Day: What's Closed, What's Open

Memorial Day is a federal and state holiday.

Monday is Memorial Day, when we remember those who died serving our country. It is a federal and state holiday.

Here is what's closed:

Bethlehem City Hall offices.

Bethlehem schools

Bethlehem Area Public Library

Lehigh and Northampton county courthouses

District Judge offices

State offices, including PennDOT driver's license and photo centers. (Driver and vehicle online services are available. www.dmv.state.pa.us)

Federal offices

Post offices, and no mail pickup or delivery. Express Mail will be delivered.

Pennsylvania Liquor stores

Banks (Most are closed.)

Also on Monday:

Retail: Most retail and entertainment establishments are open.
