Monday, Jan. 21 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Here's a list of openings and closings for the holiday.

 

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day a federal and state holiday. Here is a list of what is open and closed:

Bethlehem City Hall is closed.

Bethlehem Area School District schools are closed, but district offices are open.

Bethlehem Township municipal offices are open and township commissioners meet at 7 p.m.

Bethlehem Area Public Library is closed.

Northampton County Courthouse is closed.

Lehigh County Courthouse is closed. 

Northampton and Lehigh county government offices are closed.

District Judge offices are closed.

State offices are closed.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers are closed. (Online services are available. www.dmv.state.pa.us)

LANTA buses will run on a normal weekday schedule.

Pennsylvania Liquor stores are closed.

Federal offices are closed. 

Post offices are closed, and there will be no regular mail pick up or delivery. 

Retail: Most retail and entertainment establishments are open today.

Banks: Most are closed.
