Free Health Clinic Opens at Broughal Middle School

Disadvantaged southside residents will now get free physicals and screenings.

A family health clinic at Broughal Middle School on Bethlehem's south side will bring free physicals and screenings to residents without health insurance or who are under-insured, according to a Morning Call report.

The clinic came about through collaboration among the Bethlehem Area School District, Lehigh University, St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Temple University School of Medicine, Bethlehem Health Bureau, United Way and local candy manufacturer Just Born.

The clinic opened on Saturday, June 4.
