Flash Flood Watch In Effect Till 11 p.m.

The National Weather Service warns that heavy rain could flood Lehigh and Northampton counties' roads today

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch in effect until 11 tonight. The ground in parts of the Lehigh Valley is already saturated because of two to four inches of rain that fell over the last few days.

Another one to two inches of rain could come with storms across Lehigh and Northampton counties today.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and bring rain that will be heavy at times.
