5 Things to Know Today

More wet weather, possible flooding in store for this week.

Good morning Bethlehem. Today is Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Congratulations to the IronPigs, which clinched the first playoff berth in team history Sunday with a win in Syracuse. A best-of-five series with the Pawtucket Red Sox starts Wednesday night at Coca Cola Park in Allentown. Tickets go on sale this morning at 9 a.m.

  1. The wettest August on record is giving way to a very wet September. The National Weather Service has this area under a flood watch until Wednesday. The forecast calls for rain until Thursday. The heaviest rain could be coming tonight when between one and two inches are expected.
