The force of 130 ships and 55,000 men was defeated by August. It is also the 66th birthday of legendary Who guitarist Pete Townsend and the 67th birthday of actor Peter Mayhew, better known to most of you as Chewbacca from Star Wars.
- The weather forecast is once again soggy, though the flood watch has been lifted. There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight with a forecast high of 72 degrees.
- The Theis-Cornfeld Yard Waste Facility on Schoenersville Road is closed for renovations today. It is scheduled to reopen on Friday.
