First, the impending storm was called a potential "atmospheric bomb" that could dump one to feet of snow on eastern Pennsylvania.
Then forecasters said the storm would hit significantly south of the Lehigh Valley.
Now, the storm track appears clearer and the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Bethlehem beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday and ending at 3 a.m. Thursday.
Highlights include:
- 2-4 inches of snow expected
- Snow should move in to our area late tonight and affect the morning commute
- Expect slushy conditions for the Wednesday afternoon/evening commute
- Snow should start tapering off Wednesday evening and end Wednesday night
A Winter Weather Advisory means periods of snow may make travel difficult. Be prepared for slippery roads. WFMZ is forecasting one to three inches of snow for the Lehigh Valley.
